First Personal involvement
On February 19th I talked to Susan Kerr ,the head of C-N Recycling, to find out what days I would I be able to help the organization and what will they have me do. She told me to go to the Bonner house at 2:00p.m. on Friday February 24th and they will use me to help C-N Recycling with their recycling route. It was only four of us counting me but we got everything done in a timely fashion. I could tell that the students and staff of C-N recycling was really committed about this and doing this to help take care of the environment. I didn't tell them that I was a athlete yet, I decided to keep it to myself because I didn't what them to feel guilt that I may be missing practice or get in trouble with the team. I told them I was and what sport I did after we finished the route:They shined with joy when they founded out that I was athlete and that I volunteered to help them. I wanted to show them that I was just as committed to their organization as they was and it paid off.
